Yesterday, using multiple one-way attack surface drones, CENTCOM forces successfully struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran. Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations. Last night’s strikes degraded Iran’s ability to continue attacking commercial shipping.

Any missile can do that.

Is this a much more affordable method?

Slow and very detectable. But hey if it’s cheaper and no defense - why not!!!

Too bad one of those Iranian center consoles couldn't take them out.

Man, I’m one of the biggest Trump supporters ever, but wtf is this? We’ve heard for months “their navy and Air Force are obliterated” only to find out they’re still launching drones and missiles and mines at ships in the Strait. Now they have a working submarine facility?

My God, finish the motherfrickers or shut the frick up.

According to Grok, the submarine was likely a Ghadir-class midget submarine. It is believed that all of Iran's Kilo-class and Fateh-class boats have been taken out or severely damaged at the dockside. They may have less than 10 midget subs left.

Wonder if these are the autonomous boats being built in Baldwin, LA by Saronic?

If we can detect a soldiers heartbeat and rescue him… why are the iranian launch sites and capabilities allowed to exist

The US is trying not to leave an empty vassal and the IRGC knows it. However, it will ultimately prove, to the demise of the IRGC, why they should have settled.

Lots of fracturing going on within Iran currently. The IRGC is under far too much stress to function cohesively. It will not be long and

It Will Be Glorious!!

Agreed. And I would have thought a couple of torpedoes would have been cheaper.
