American Curiosity: Disclose the Facts?

"Prominent American Joe Blow died today from COVID. He was diagnosed and hospitalized soon after attending a large public gathering at which attendees did not adhere to CDC recommendations for mask use and social distancing."
Most Americans would want to know the nature of that gathering, true or false?
EDIT, for those who expect to see every opinion recorded in every post of every thread. I think Herman Cain was a good man and a good American. I was saddened to hear of his death. This post relates to those who are indignant about the reporting of a simple, accurate fact which I believe is PROBABLY of interest to most Americans.
This edit is directed in part at morons like CAD who have asserted that I am "shitting on" Cain, when I am simply examining the REPORTING by CNN and others ... and initially attempting to do so in a manner NOT specific to Cain OR to a Trump rally,.

I remember watching live and he was sitting with his whole family. None wear wearing masks
In the end it was his own choice to attend and not wear a mask even though they were provided.
But this is officially the nail in the coffin of any trump rallies for the rest of 2020.
This really just is the cherry on top for trump today.
Stupid tweet
campaign pulling ads from Michigan
GDP in the shitter
Can't get much worse. Media continuous to feast. His approvals will continue to dip.

I generally try not to politicize the death of a person, but you do you bud.

Trump will win in a landslide - no one is voting for Biden

Full disclosure: I don't sit around watching CNN all day so I can't speak to the nature and tone of the coverage.
Is it relevant to mention he attended the rally? Yeah, I think so.
Is harping on the attendance at the rally politicizing his death? Yeah, I think that's a fair criticism.

Above the fray, so dignified, so principled.

quote:Fine. I have no problem with that description either. I have said repeatedly that both masks and distancing are good ideas, but should not be mandated by government.

But neither your edit nor my broader observation provides an answer to the question submitted in the OP.
Would most Americans be interested in knowing the nature of the gathering? Yes or no?
To expand the discussion, is it not the BUSINESS of the media to provide information that Americans believe to be relevant and/or interesting?

Now do the same with protests.

Are you really stupid enough to think that's how Current Year Media makes decisions?
I won't insult your intelligence by believing you actually stand by the bullzhit you just posted....
Little man, you need to work on your Shtick....

I don't think that 99.9% of Americans care one whit how Herman Cain (or anyone else, for that matter) got Covid.
"Today, we are sad to announce that Herman Cain passed away after contracting Covid."
For pretty much everyone, that would suffice. Who it wouldn't be sufficient for is for those that know he was at a Trump rally and caught it shortly thereafter and want to disseminate that information in an effort place blame on Trump.

I'm starting to think Hank is legit mentally retarded.

Do you think that you have made a point of some sort?
