I don't think that 99.9% of Americans care one whit how Herman Cain (or anyone else, for that matter) got Covid.
At a minimum, I think most DEMS would want this information. Let's call that 35% of the populace or so. Let's say about half of Independents ... maybe another 10% of the populace. Let's say only 5% of Republican voters would be interested and call that another 2% of the populace.
That is about 47% of Americans.
Why would the media NOT report something that is ... at a minimum ... "interesting" to almost half of all Americans? Because it might be interpreted as unflattering to the Great Orange Deity?

I find it interesting that some posters are seemingly suggesting they would be content with no mention of the rally attendance. Much like with the frontline doctors, put the info out there and let people decide. So much for principles I guess.

My understanding of the logic of the mask is it protects others around you, not you. And it’s at best a 3% or so less chance with a piece of cloth...if that.

But that would stupid (thus, expected). In one case you have a sample size of ONE, with a causal effect of ONE. In the other you have millions and a causal effect of millions.
