America Ain't Worth Saving

Half this country blames the President for a pandemic that originates in China mere months after he was criticized as a racist for banning travel from there. Half this country believes anonymous sources in the face of denials by people who clearly hate Trump. Half this country thinks a dementia patient who's been in politics for 47 years is the answer to our problems. Half this country is obese, functionally illiterate and addicted to government welfare.
I'm at the point where I want to watch it all burn. I want to laugh when the leftists and white guilt virtue signalers who enable this madness are themselves destroyed by the very mob they created. Conservatives and libertarians have no place in the future of this country. We are hated by all institutions in American pop culture. We need to seriously think about breaking away from this country in as non-violent a manner as is possible.

Selfishly, if it was just me, I'd kind of agree. But I'm the father of two son's 18 and 13. Their futures are worth fighting for. They don't deserve what the world has suddenly become, so I can't just turn a blind eye to it and allow it to happen without at least TRYING to tun back the tide.

This is where I'm at. I pretty much agree with the OP's premise, half this country is fricked up in the head but I have two grandsons who I would like to have at least a chance of living a decent, free life. That's why our country is still worth fighting for and why the left wing must be resisted at every turn.
If it were up to the left wing there would be no freedom and we owe it to the generations that follow us to stop them. By any means necessary

I love America and shed blood in defense of her interests. That said, I agree with you and consider myself a man of the south first and foremost.

Continue to think everything is swell in a country where conservatives and libertarians are losing their jobs and livelihoods for the crime of having an opinion. Where our media blames us for every social problem. Where up is down and right is left. We're through the looking glass right now. And good luck finding Republicans other than Trump and a handful of others who fight back. This doesn't even address the demographic changes that will occur in this country in the next 30 years. Voting isn't going to change the inevitable.
