The truth is that both Obama and Trump ( and Biden, Bush) are war mongers. They all do what the military industrial complex and Netanyahu tell them to do. All that to the detriment of the American taxpayer. You're welcome.

Hahahahaha......who is going to war with the U.S. over this?

Maduro loyalists? There is no more Maduro for them to fight for.

China? Russia? They will put out official statements on X. Other than that, they aren't going to do shite.

Again, regime changes virtually never go as planned.

You laughing and pretending there’s no chance this goes sideways is incredibly naive.

Thanks for the lesson. What is your definition of going sideways? Are the people in Venezuela now under an increased threat of localized violence?

Are we under a bigger threat of any retaliation or attack compared to 24 hours ago? No.

Is this going to destabilize the world economy? No

There is no long, drawn out war on the ground in Venezuela. Their Maduro opposition party will set up shop....and if there is any violence....how is that different than the previous violence between Maduro and the opposition?

Something like this. Which of these Utopias worked out the way we intended?

Learn your history man.

You do realize that the whole Somali thing was investigated and found out to be a total lie by a YouTube grifter?

Also nobody liked Maduro, but right now there are people getting shot in the street by gangs and cartel members and we just created a huge power vacuum for the cartels to take over. But as long as they play nice and give us the oil we may let them keep power.

Those are different world situations. I don't want to see a graph about things from the 1970's and 80s. It is 2026. The international business and economic structure and communication tools are totally different compared to local citizens being isolated and resentful in 1979 or 1986.

Sure....locals felt isolated and resentful in 1979 or 1986 because they had no communication outside their towns. All they received in terms of news or economic opportunity was the ruling parties telling them: You are being plunged into poverty and despair by "X."

Different situation in 2026.

Why don't you look up the f***** that Trump just pardoned. If you think this is about drugs you guys are f****** idiots. Oil, Oil,Oil.

The guy that Trump just pardoned has killed three times the amount of people that Maduro ever killed so clearly you don't know what the f*** you're talking about.

The USA and the CIA always f****** everything.

Didn't work in Chile.
Didn't work in Bolivia.
Didn't work in Argentina.
Didn't work in Iraq.
Didn't work in Afghanistan.

We just destabilized an entire region more than it has ever been destabilized which means that more Venezuelans are going to be coming here illegally which means it's going to be even worse.

When you destabilize a country people flee. Where do they flee to? The United States. What do republicans say? Why are there so many people here from this place we destabilized...... Reeeeeeeeee!!

Another Pinochet coming up!!

Lol, man you sound hopeful (not that I blame you, I am too)

But if you think some form of “no it’s different this time because…” didn’t exist in every single one of those circumstances you are PAINFULLY naive.

And what would you or America do without a secure and reliable oil supply?

Energy is the critical key to all parts of national security. To think otherwise is a “hand in the sand” mentality.

Didn’t the narco dictator seize oil facilities that were privately owned by US oil companies? Should they not have their legitimately obtained and legally obtained corporate assets returned to them?

Doesn’t part of the role of our US government exist to protect US interests?

Did you mean to respond to me? We agree dude.

I made the exact same point in my first post. It’s clearly about oil.
