I wonder, could the police reduce costs (quasi defund) by just simply not responding to calls from certain addresses, persons, etc.? Like the one in this post, for example.

So let me get this straight. A kid is hunting with an air rifle. They hear him shoot and think that is what a gun shot sounds like. Then calls the police that deploy like someone is invading the neighborhood. Then they had to conduct a full town hall meeting about a pellet gun with the community! Am I the only one that sees any problem with this picture? Whole lot of people in the neighborhood completely full of themselves.
