I think you are misunderstood. A large chunk of federal workers are conservative.

I guess you don’t enjoy visiting our national parks?

The federal government cannot continue to be the largest employer in the US with skyrocketing debt. How is this hard to understand for some of you?

So this is about national parks?

Dude- let’s make that a volunteer program.

And if you are conservative and work for the government and this has somehow taken you by surprise and you are disillusioned - change your party affiliation.

Y’all want to raise the debt ceiling by a few trillion dollars, but you keep running your mouth about how much debt we have. It’s amusing.

Okay genius, show me your plan. How many people have the time to volunteer full time? How many volunteers will each national park require? How many of these volunteers are skilled in search and rescue, interpretation, etc? How many of these volunteers are physically capable of the varied terrains?

Also - who’s going to manage these volunteers? Another volunteer?

I’ve worked with volunteers my entire career and I can tell you the answer. But I want to listen to you, bc you seem to be the genius who brought up this great idea.

You have a point here.

I dont think MAGA is about saving money, its doing what Obama did. Remake the bureaucracy in a new image.

“Trump voting, hard working people that live in rural America” and work for the federal government? Lol, have you ever been to rural America and witnessed all of those government buildings that poor people work for? I mean they are literally everywhere. This has to be the top 10 dumbest statements ever on this board

You have been having some pretty stupid takes lately. I am sorry you are taking this so hard what with all of the free money drying up and having to actually work now

Let’s seeeee- run a report of anyone receiving a government check.
You now have a work requirement at the national park.

Who will supervise them?
Let’s see, let’s see - who’s on the government payroll that won’t be layed off?

You now have a modified job description.

You have time to work with volunteers, maybe you can do it!

It took Trump just 4 years to cause as much damage as what Obama did in 8.

And yes, y’all’s entire platform has been about saving money.

These people are likely Democrats and Democrats always talk about who is going to pick the crops after we deport the illegal immigrants. Looks like we’ve found a solution.

Learn to pick the crops like you’ve picked our pockets.

Not quite. Obama (and Holders) war on dissent was the bigger issue. The bureaucracy is full of true believers.

I like to think about the good hard working great men & women that lined up at the voting booth after work on election day with their maga hats and t shirts on. Just so proud and angry and eager to vote for trump. The military veteran federal workers that were within a couple years of retirement. … that President Musk and his presidential assistant Trump shitcanned his first 3 weeks in power.

How can you defend trump/musk for doing that? You can’t.
They didn’t even attempt to save anybody’s career. A lot of good hard working loyal employees were sent home. His own supporters.

1) Do you vote? If you did you'd realize you cannot wear political shirts and/or hats in most states when you vote.

2) The whole of the country cannot be sacrificed because of some Federal workers. It sucks, but I've seen lots of people get laid off in the private sector over the years. It's how organizations stay healthy overall. The good workers with bonafides will find work again pretty quickly.

3) They were offered generous severances and retained their generous retirements, so I'm sure the ones that close to retirement are not that torn up about it.

4) I assume you think President Trump is a tyrant. So please explain how Trump can be a tyrant and we also have "President Musk?"

You don't seem that smart, but you sure do seem pretty angry.
