As of now, charges against Florida rioters related to Jan. 6 range from conspiracy; assault, including on a federal officer; civil disorder; violent entry; obstruction of an official proceeding; and entering and remaining in a restricted building.

Federal authorities have already arrested over 500 people suspected of involvement with the Capitol riot, and 60 of those are from Florida.

What has DeSantis done or said about them being pulled out of their homes in before sunrise raids?

Just Curious?

The Republicans as a whole have been ghosts.

So explain to me why you are doing what the Democrats want and dividing the Republicans.

Are you really a Democrat in hiding?

If he wants to run, then this is part of his record. I'm not about not having people not answer for their record.

I live in Florida and you want to ask me what he has done?

I want Trump to run and win, but you are literally trying to do the Democrats work for them.

Aren't you the one that laid that plan out on another thread?

More than 60 FL Citizens are in Jail for Jan 6th

January 6 was baby shite along side of what happened during the 2020 "summer of love" mayhem, murder and rioting. How many people are in jail for that?

How many anarchists have been arrested for the Portland and Seattle riots?

Trump had more power than anybody to help them and he did not. He's also the reason they were there in the first place - to hear the same half-assed, warmed over rant he'd been giving all through December 2020.

The Governor of Florida has absolutely no authority over a Federal Prosecution of any alleged crime.

The authority is 100% on the Attorney General of the United States.

Have you people ever taken a civics class in your lives?

1- He could have spoken out.

2- He could have been Speaking out.

3- He could BE speaking out..

All against the predawn raids. Against dragging and cripple MAN OUT of his house on the GROUND!

4- He could have announced and put to work his AG to defend the truth of what happened.

That’s not how this works.

For crying out loud, are you that ignorant of how the state and Federal governments are different?

The Gov has the people behind him. He has a voice. He knows how to use it.

Like demanding why HIS citizens are being held with out due Process.

He is over the AG of FL who brings federal cases every year. He could have went to court to demand they be released with or without bail. He could have sent the AG of FL into court saying they have a right to DUE PROCESS.

It’s stunning how hard you’re trying to pin some culpability on Desantis for J6th

But Trump has been “speaking out”. Give me a fricking break. Where. At a few rallys where basically only the devoted attendees hear what is said? How brave

No, what's stunning is the fact that you are trying to make it into to that.

This is about DeSantis NOT saying anything, nor doing anything while his citizens that voted for him are being politically persecuted.

He blasted the Jan 6 hearings.

I’ll have to look to see what else he’s said. He’s not exactly shy.

Love your passion but I think you are just a bit too far off 1st base in this one.
