Dipshits like him are the ultimate grifters. And there are tons on tv. People with a piece of paper on the wall with no real world experience in anything but have convinced people to believe anything they say.

I have to admit his keys are pretty good indicators but he was too biased to fill them out correctly. If you objectively fill them out Trump wins in a landline…. Like we witnessed.

It’s amazing to see people so insulated and prideful. He’s a partisan hack along with the mainstream media. This just goes to show Trump broke the establishment, the bureaucracy, the DC elites and swamp creatures. Look at the DC votes.

The thing is, they really weren’t. Had he applied them correctly they would have had solid predictive value, but instead he let his own bias confound them.

He fricked up his own system because he, the sole proprietor, couldn’t use it objectively.

His keys were right. He just applied them incorrectly.

Trump had to get at least six. Here’s the ones that should have been applied to him.

1 Incumbent party holds less seats in the House

3 The incumbent party decided not to run the sitting president

5 & 6 Short term and long term economy were problems. He misapplied them by defining them so narrowly. He does not account for the highest inflation in 40 years affecting cost of living vs purchasing power and wages.

7 Immigration was a major policy change that concerned many voters.

8 Civil unrest within the Dem party regarding Israel and Gaza.

9 The Biden admin was full of scandal: the border, Afghanistan, lying about the dude’s cognitive ability, Hunter Biden’s conviction.

10 Afghanistan along with Ukrainian and Israeli proxy wars have been a total failure.

11 No military success

12 No charismatic incumbent

13 Even though he is polarizing, Trump is a very charismatic person.

That’s 11 of the keys. If he had applied them correctly, he would have seen the landslide coming months in advance.

The keys were right, Allan, it’s just your interpretation was wrong.

2. Racism, misogyny and xenophobia

1. The price of groceries to people who actually need to pay attention how much food costs can never be "misinformation". Same thing goes with the cost of anything. Not to mention, I am not aware that Elon Musk's Twitter/X has been actively censoring any leftist bullshite (completely unlike their censoring of rightist/conservative talk before he took over).

2. What the frick??? So not wanting a bunch of illegal immigrants invading your country is xenophobic??? If that's xenophobic then, yes, I must be "xenophobic" then. Or, if he's talking about the voters not electing Kamala (thus they must be racists/sexist) then what's their excuse for the Democratic party nominating an old white man over her in the 2020 Democratic primary?

These people are absolutely insane and I am so happy that their entire house of cards are falling around them. We are DONE with their buillshit!!!

So by my math, since 2000 he is 5 out 7 which is a whopping 71% success. What a guru!!!!!!!!

Paraphrased: People didn’t agree with how terrific Lichtman said the incumbents were doing.

He was shaping his keys for a certain candidate. The electorate told him to get bent

Which means his keys are only key if it helps a certain party. Backed up by the fact that applying the keys from 1860 to present, every time Lichtman's 13 keys were wrong, he predicted a DIM would win, but then didnt.

Only once did he predict a R win, that was actually wrong. Hillary won the popular vote, but Trump won the election. Lichtman claimed he was right anyway, because his predictions were not popular vote based. Even though he argued the exact opposite in 2000 when Gore did indeed win the popular vote

I have a couple of keys that he missed:

1.A party that caused high inflation due to their idiotic policies will lose.

2.A party that allows the country to be invaded by a horde of criminals will lose.

3. A party that cares more for transgenders' super rights than solving problems affecting all Americans will lose.

4. A party that uses the judicial to go after their political opponents and turns the country into a Banana Republic will lose.

Sounds like it should have been 14 (or 15) keys.
