All these Dems dumping on Franken is such an obvious last minute push against Roy Moore

They've been practically silent about Franken for weeks now and would've stayed that way if there wasn't a possible senate seat to steal in Alabama.

A memo came down form Chuck and Nancy instructing dems to cut Franken loose to help steal the Bama seat.

It's blatantly obvious.

Of course it is. It's smart. It gives them the pretend moral high ground.

This would be the correct assumption here.

Trump only lost Minnesota by like 4-5 points and Franken's predecessor was a republican and they've recently had republican governors.

Gonna be hilarious as shite if the GOP can steal Franken's seat.

That would pretty much stop any similar tactics like today from ever happening again.

It’s a good gambit. Zero risk because Franken will be replaced by a Dem. Roy Moore was gonna win with or without McConnel’s, Trumps and the party’s endorsement. It would have been better to have had plausible deniability on this one and just washed their hands of him like they did a month ago. This is a loser nationally no matter how much we love the melt

Brave Sir Robin may appoint someone to that seat but there will still likely be an election for the remainder of Franken’s term, which runs to 2020.

They just ends up being yet another seat the Dems have to play defense on in 2018.

I may be reading that wrong, but it looks like Dayton can appoint someone then it goes up for special election in November 2018.

You think this is the end of the #metoo stuff? It's just the beginning.

It is not the beginning of the end. It is the end of the beginning.

the difference between moore and frankin is:

one is a sitting senator and the alagations came out after he was elected and he might have lost the election if this situaion existed during his election.

the other is running for office with the accusations. if the voters see fit to put him in office it becomes a moot point unless there are actual lawsuits from the accusers, which we all know wont happen.

The problem with this theory they have pictures of Franken and he has admitted to his harassment.

In Roy Moore's case it still remains a he said she said issue.

It's going to be very difficult to expel Roy Moore unless new concrete evidence of sexual harassment appears.

I'm aware.

Not really. Roy Moore is going to win. But if more stuff comes out or another Republican has accusations brought upon them, this gives the dems some pretend high ground to stand on.

That was my point that you so angrily didn't understand

Well...they are going to be sorely disappointed.....again!

It's called reaping what you sew. The Dems have long ignored morality and fair play for the benefit of their Ideological hegemony...while Conservatives tolerated zero offense. Now...Conservatives have taken the gloves off, and do not expect their 'soldiers' to be moral examples...but to swing the sword and do what they are hired to do.

Bottom line. As long as Trump and Roy Moore hammer the Progs...we don't care what they formerly did. That said, if there were individuals with less character flaws other than Moore or Trump who could get the job done...fine. But until they step up...MAGA.
