All these complaints that Dems run corrupt elections: What are you doing about it?

I have worked as an election judge in my precinct since 2016. Missed it this year for a meeting I couldn't reschedule. When I have worked, I personally handed out every ballot that day. I balanced them at the end of the day between those counted by the machine, those "spoiled" by errors and kept in an envelope, and those that were left over.

I write down the totals we get from the scanner at the end of the day. I compare the official results posted online later with what I wrote down.

The one thing I don't do (because I can't) is review the ballots themselves to make sure the scan totals match.

It's a depressing job sometimes. I see the people come in who vote straight party ticket. I see those who have clear mental deficiencies and a "helper" is there to make sure they tick the right box. I see the dumbass system we use here where you can literally show up that day, unregistered and with no ID, and still vote because someone will vouch that you do live in the precinct.

As much as I hate that crap, it follows the law. I don't sit around and bitch about shenanigans in my precinct because I am there to make sure they don't happen.

All you people who insist that there is no way to keep Dems from cheating: What are you doing to monitor and enforce these issues? Election judges are hard positions to fill, and the most eager to do them are activists, which means they skew heavily Democratic.

I do this. I speak at city council meetings. I even ran for city council once, not because I wanted to do it but because I didn't want someone else to.

You can't bitch about the process when you refuse to step in and be a part of it.

Match what exactly? I vote, they eat the scan, so how is it matched?

What can you do about mail in ballots at a precinct? This is systematic corruption.
What can you do about hacking the registration software?
They are voting for people that didn't vote thru the register's database. They tell most dem to vote in mail so they know who didn't vote. Some crazy nerd figured it out last election. Don't know how to stop it but to have a complete audit of software.
No staanding
. auditing fraudulent votes won't matter

That the number of ballots cast, plus the number of ballots "spoiled", plus the number of ballots left over all add up to the number of ballots we started out with.

As I said, I don't (and can't) check that the report matches the votes cast. The machines are not connected to anything, and I have to assume they are certified for accuracy and reliability. They are sample-audited by hand counting after the election. Do I know for a fact that there is nothing going on in that process? I do not. I also have no evidence that there is.

I have been a poll watcher and an election commissioner.

I go to legislative meetings about new voting systems for the state.

I write to my representatives and the Secretary of State to voice my concerns about inaccurate voter rolls and machines that have proprietary software that election officials can't even look at. That is completely unacceptable.

I follow Dr. Randy Russ and John Scanlan who are working very hard at fixing elections in Louisiana. Their findings are alarming, to say the least. LegalVoteLa.org

You can be an election judge or monitor for that part of the process.

I can't speak for every state, but I would expect that almost all of them have provisions for ordinary citizens to be in place at all parts of the process. A quick look for Texas shows that each county has a specific board for this, comprised of representatives for both parties.

At the end of the day, my question stands. Do you know what the options are for ensuring election integrity where you live and are you availing yourselves of that process?

a. First Amendment says I can
b. Is the qualifier that my vote doesn't count unless I become and election assistant of some sort? Or perhaps it doesn't count unless I throw my hat in the ring for some sort of office? Or maybe it only counts if I join a local political party or local political club? Who is the arbiter on what actions I take that equals my vote weighing more?
c. The only real answer is to revolt against those who are so obviously corrupting elections and establish national holidays for all federal elections, uniform polling hours, procedures, ballots, and purple ink on your left fore finger for good measure.
d. End of story...

Are we counting the Aggie football stuff, or just here?

Can't believe anybody would blame me for the former.

As for the latter, I am just getting tired of all the poseurs on here that spout off about how the election process is so compromised and hopeless, but don't have the stones or initiative to actually step in and try to do something about it.

When my kids sat around and whined, I sure didn't indulge them or even listen to it. I told them to either fix the problem or find something they liked about it.

What do you do when they bring in a duffel bag if votes they found in the back of the van when things aren’t going their way?

This does not tell me votes are good. They shred my ballot and there is no way of knowing how it was counted.

If that happened where I am working, I would do my job and find out what was going on.

If you are seriously asking because this has happened where you live, what are you doing about it?

So you're suggesting I move my family to Arizona, Penn, Georgia, or another swing state, get a new job, and monitor elections?

Why can't people just be held accountable that are already doing such things?

His name was Seth rich.

I’m starting to think that it is the deep state that had him offed, not Hildawg.

You first, and let’s see what happens to you.

His name was ag zwin sort of rolls off the tongue quite nicely, doesn’t it?!
