I've been MAGA AF since August 2015 and I'm starting to dislike Vance.

Same. I’m nowhere close to being a RINO. I just feel like overall, he added very little to the ticket. And I haven’t been at all impressed with his speeches — he’s trying way too hard to be Trump-like, but not pulling it off.

However my mind remains open on the subject, and I’m hoping for the best. Kamala Harris winning the presidency is without a doubt, frightening beyond comprehension.

Right you are, mate. I listened to his episode which was entirely about reacting to the Vance pick last week. In no way did he voice opposition. If there was anything that was a halfway critique, he called it "bold," and made a reasonable point that he doesn't really help Trump much politically because Trump doesn't need him in the rust belt... as opposed to Rubio helping him with Hispanics, Scott helping him with blacks, or Youngkin helping in VA.

You read all of my posts and came to the conclusion that I'm voting for Kamala? Interesting.

Personally? I think Rubio or Sarah Sanders would have been great picks.

We'll see what happens. I can't figure out why someone who was a complete no name wrote a book about themselves nearly ten years ago. Book sales are the biggest source of money laundering. Vance is like someone with limited credit history. A thin file. Not enough information to make an informed decision.

I had to go back look at the margin

Honestly he didn’t do too bad coming off a horribly unpopular GWB presidency and being, you know, himself

If Trump really intends this race to be competitive, he needs to dump Vance before the Convention and select a woman as his running mate-- I like either Tulsi or Nicky. Vance.... is a sure loser, maybe only a little better than Burgoo

He is pro worker.
He is popular in the rust belt. Not all union members vote what the union says.
Harris will not be strong in Wisconsin,Michigan
She may do well in Pennsylvania. Vance can pool some votes there to get to 272

John Tyler. William Henry Harrison a Whig picked Tyler to help get the Democrat vote in 1840. Harrison died early in his term and Tyler became President. Did Tyler follow Whig policy? No. He was a Democrat.

This is why RFK jr or Tulsi would not have been good picks. Vance at least would follow the populist platform.
