No doubt, but he was also too arrogant and stupid to realize his overreach led to Trumpism.
Had Obama governed like Clinton or even Carter with incrementalism, the GOP would’ve countered with more Romney, Bush, Dole RINO types.
Now all Obama stood for is largely overturned and the redistricting war combined with red state population growth could have the Dems in minority state for a generation.
