When Trump crossed the dmz to meet Kim Jong Un, I'm sure it was because both nork and our country took into account potential risks and deemed it acceptable.

There's nothing to take into account of an alien that just landed. Have zero idea of their weapons.. have zero idea of their intention. Have no clue about their tech in general. It would be impossible to assess the situation.
