I wish more people in this state, and this country, looked more closely at the candidates on BOTH sides of the aisle. Neither side has a monopoly on good ideas or morals or ethics.
to you for doing that.

I like listening to reasonable people on politics all the time.
Even when I disagree with them.
I mean, I'm sorry. I spent an hour listening to this guy and he achieved something that I honestly can't recall the last time it happened.
He spoke for an hour and responded to a conservative asking him questions for that hour.........and not ONCE did identity politics come up. Not ONCE was some view I held portrayed as motivated by bigotry.
Until national Democrats can figure out how to articulate their ideas without impugning my character for not agreeing with them, I'm probably going to react to them the way you always seem me react on this board.
But, I do listen beyond the letter by their name and Kennedy, at least today, didn't do that shite and, he articulated what are at least some fairly conservative views.
I don't know what the national democrats have to do though to salvage their party because frankly, Kennedy would be COMPLETLEY unwelcome and 90% of the Democratic gatherings in America.

magine if Nick Saban ran as a Democrat
Just because Saban can coach the hell out of football doesn't mean I give two fricks what his political leanings are.

Democrats, ESPECIALLY minority democrats, need to hear this guy and realize you don't have to be a bat shite crazy a-hole to be a Democrat.
This should be #1 on the Dem platform

I would strongly consider voting for him over any of the Republican candidates.
