And that was quick… Governor Kay Ivey has signed both HB1 and SB1 paving the way for adopting the previously blocked state senate and congressional maps in time for the coming election.

Again, this would all still depend on a decision from the courts.

* don't tell anyone though, especially liberals. They land in Florida, or Nashville above. Then they migrate, like locusts.. bringing pestilence and death.

My bad. I thought just about everyone knows who Governor Mee-maw is.

Thanks for fixing the title.

Was it so quick because she knows it will not be allowed? I have always thought her to be a snake in the grass.

Why?

With the SCOTUS ruling it seems they’d go along and approve it, or is there other issues that violate Alabama law?

She's not a snake but she is an old southern Democrat that changed her D to an R. She basically doesn't make any decisions and leans on her "advisors" to do a lot of the heavy lifting (other than her wine bottle). Will Ainsworth and Steve Marshall pretty much run the state government.

Well, the old southern democrats were probably a more conservative bunch.
