you've got it backwards. it's southerners who think they are better and that their way is the "correct" way. hell, that's a core tenet of their religious ideologies. the rest of the country is largely cool with people doing their own thing and minding their own fricking business. southerners are the ones telling people what they can and can't do behind closed doors, on what days of the week they can buy liquor, and telling people who they can or cannot marry

Wars have been fought throughout history for much less... what is sad are those who have no cultural identity, no moral barometers and no respect for the system of government that grants them the freedom to show their disrespect
