I've been posting for over 25 years and we didn't need thousands of data centers.

Yes we did, and we had them.

Just in the US there were 2600 operational data centers in 2020.

And now there are more and thousands more are being built.

You wrote that we didn’t need thousands of data centers. I showed you that we did. Instead of admitting you were wrong you posted that we now have even more. That is not something I have ever contested and is just a moving of the goal posts.

So basically the government will be running a nationwide HOA along with insurance companies monitoring your property. This will be great for finding stolen vehicles and criminals. Just another way to collect fees without raising taxes.

I get not wanting cameras on traffic lights and light poles, but how is this different from cameras on police cars?

On garbage day, as the trucks are approaching, flip the bird and then blow a kiss to the drivers.

No thanks, I appreciate the garbage guys for the job that they do.
Besides, it's not like they have any say in the matter.

These tow truck drivers with the license plate scanner, on the other hand...

1) police cars don't routinely go up and down every single street
2) police vehicles stand out when they park in front of your house for several minutes, garbage trucks on garbage day, don't. Or rather, it's normalized that they should be there.
3) much like taxes to the city, a garbage bill is something I pay for. And in my case, it's a hostage situation. If there is no garbage contract to the address, my landlord gets in trouble. Which gets ME in trouble.
If they put this crap on garbage trucks we are PAYING them to spy on us.

Wait until they put them on drones.

Insurance companies are already flying drones over houses to deny claims, cancel coverage, fraud, etc.

Also, guess the mafia needs to find other ways to smuggle bodies to the garbage dump.

Two-door Blasey-Ford had better hope they don't bring that tech to Palo Alto

Note to self:

1 - invent an AI-controlled device that can identify a camera pointed in its direction and temporarily blind it.

2 - patent said device.

3 - sell it on Amazon

4 - profit
