Arbery pleaded guilty to charges he carried a gun onto a high school campus in 2013, a year after he graduated. Rodney Ellis, police chief for the Glynn County school system, testified at Wednesday’s hearing that Arbery tried to evade officers on foot and stopped only when two of them pointed guns at him. He was also arrested in 2017 on charges that he tried to steal a TV from a Walmart store. Court records show he pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Arbery was on probation at the time of his death.

And someone just argued not an hour ago that the police wouldn't even have acted like the McMichaels...

Yea and maybe after millions of years of evolution pigs will fly.
Arbery was going to end up dead in a ditch or serving serious time in prison eventually.

Things (guns) were stolen from that neighborhood and Gregory McMichael named Arbery as someone he believed was responsible.
Oh. I meant that day. You meant ever in the neighborhood. Super relevant.

That linked list didn't include all burglaries ever in the neighborhood, so no that's not what I meant.

I guess you can shoot kids that aren’t going to amount to anything. Saddle up, hoss. You got a lot of shootin’ to do.

They suspected Arbery might have been the robber from two months prior. Is this more “immediate knowledge”?

Arbery was an adult, and he was much worse than someone who wasn't going to amount to anything. He was a felon who only harmed his community.
And no, that's not why he died. He died because he charged a dude with a shotgun.
Sure he wouldn't be in that situation if the McMichaels didn't follow him, but he also wouldn't be in that situation if he stopped running... errr.... jogging.

Keep defending criminality. It will bite you in the arse one day.

Is this a criminal act or just dumb?

No, it's not. But since you're so confused as to what immediate knowledge is you should look into it a bit more.

Depends, but it's the reason he's dead.

Criminal past of stealing while on foot and claiming he was fricking jogging to be specific.
That would be more relevant if he was being prosecuted.

they just need reasonable grounds of suspicion.
Resonable grounds of suspecion of him having done what?
And what action would that reasonable suspicion have justified on their part?

This is likely but he is not in trial here. Try to follow along..

Who and whose actions are in trial here??? I’m confused….

Apparently walking through/visiting a construction site…..apparently that equals burglary and implies intent
