AHCA loses two Senate moderates

Susan Collins yesterday: LINK
Dean Heller today: LINK
They can't afford to lose any more votes, which will likely be the case given the amendments they'll need to placate the Freedom Caucus. I'd keep an eye on Murkowski in particular, she's getting an earful from the state government and already said she won't vote for a bill that defunds Planned Parenthood.
The bill just doesn't have enough appeal to bring the two wings of the Republican party together.

Republicans hold the senate, the house and the presidency and they've had 6+ years to come up with an alternative to what they consider the end of the republic....and they can't get it passed.
As someone pointed out: the dog caught the car.

I agree with you but at the same time I ultimately think Republicans are purely politically minded. They know they have to pass SOMETHING and will compromise with each other to get it done.

Not really. Dont you think those two senators are safe regardless?

This is correct
And neither of these are moderates

I pity them.

Don't be a moron. O had to Bend the knee for moderate Dems on the public option and abortion funding to get ACA passed.
This is how the process works.

At this point why is Paul Ryan and the House even worried about Senate rules?
The House just needs to pass their shite now. But I have a sneaking suspicion that many GOPers don't actually want to repeal Obamacare.

The most apt description of the current Republican leadership I've seen so far.

Its not just this but they also can't come together on the CFPB, IRS tax reform, and other issues because Paul Ryan, McCain, and Graham are leading a coup d'tat

And the dog leading the charge is a rabid, unpredictable one the other dogs don't know how to handle.
