None of that has anything to do with the issues involved. Maybe loosen the chin strap on your helmet, Bill-for-Short.

Sure they do, you are just too stupid to understand why.

Nope. Not a 1A issue. Get back to your coloring book, Corky.

Most retarded dipshits can see that there is the making of a prima facie case of 1A retaliation. The State AG was upset that this Clerk of Criminal Court candidate was calling himself exonerated, among other things.
The 1A issue will most definitely be litigated before this is all over.
As will substantive and procedural due process, and perhaps equal protection.

Who is performing the duties of criminal clerk of court?

Probably same as before - nobody

These are all getting dismissed on summary judgment.

Not going to argue against that - largely because the claims are going to be heavily fact-intensive, and there are a lot of details I am sure we don't know. Duncan and any other potential plaintiffs face an uphill battle, no doubt - but those issues I talked about are more than just hail marys.

Don't you mean who is performing the duties formerly assigned to the criminal clerk of court by state law?

Hmmm, why don't you check the relevant and latest state law?

It turns out everyone else was right and Cubbies is a lost cause and there is no point trying to reason with her. I'm embarrassed it took me so long to realize that and I no longer give a frick about any of this.

I understand your argument. I’ve laid out reasonable concerns about the State’s lawful actions.

You value technical adherence to legislation. I value democratic governance.

I guess you’re taking your ball and going home now. Discussing anything with a bunch of lawyers honestly feels like a punishment anyway.

I also find the nonchalance from the board about this a bit disturbing after the years of tantrums about a “stolen election.”

Do you not think there's a difference between a governing body with the authority to do so (assuming Louisiana's state legislature has it) practically nullifying an election and people committing election fraud nullifying an election?

My representative did not vote to render the outcome of the election meaningless fwiw.

Then I think you've done what you could. That and encouraging people you know with different representatives to email theirs and plead the case.

The law. Yeah. I bet he does.

This was democratic governance.

You said so yourself. Your elected representative spoke accurately for you.

You just lost the vote. That doesn't make it not democratic.

Genuinely one of the dumbest people I’ve ever encountered on the internet.

And I was once a poster in an NFL subreddit.

The State held an election, allowed voters to select someone for office, then immediately passed legislation altering the significance of that election after the outcome was known.

I do not believe it reflects healthy democratic governance.

Shifting goal posts, jerkoff. The actual issue has nothing to do with 1A.
