That is not what Garland said.
I am glad when politicians are called out for stupid things they actually do or say, but too often they say one thing, opponents turn that into something ten times worse, and then ascribe the ten times worse statement to the personal making the original, far less bad, statement.
All Garland said is he would go after people who go borderline nuts at these meetings about CRT and Masks.
Heck I'd want some backup too.
