And no, the freedom caucus didn't save Trump from a mistake. It was dead upon arrival because of the dems and the GOPe on future immigration.

Ted Cruz spilled the beans on Trump's plan.

"Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) claimed Thursday that President Trump’s immigration proposal is more liberal than former President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program."

I will take Ted Cruz and his word over yours. "Trump's plan more liberal than Obama."

But go ahead and make more excuses.

No I said they have been in the works for decades. Which means they had nothing to do with Kemp. The process was going way way before he became Governor.

Election fraud investigations in GA start with the State Elections Board(SEB). The SEB was chaired by Raffensperger until the end of 2021. When I say "chaired" that means he controlled it. The 2021 GA State Election Integrity law, signed by Kemp, removed Raffensperger from control of the SEB. It is now controlled by a GA Senate committee. Raffensperger still as a "non voting" seat on the SEB.

GBI. Come on now.

I think you take anybody's word that you somehow think justifies your stance on Trump.

I gave you factual information. It was a negotiating tactic that ended up proving the open border policy of the establishment and DEMS.

Then why is the populist movement coalescing around a guy that grew the frick out of government, spent more/faster than Obama, and took a knee for the establishment in 2020?

You, evidently (correct me if wrong), prefer globalism and we want limited globalism. Not isolationism, limited.

Well, you're wrong. Like you are about a lot of things.

I prefer small government, a closed border, less power in permanent Washington, more power with the states - you know, conservative sort of things that aren't MAGA's thing.

That you imagine I'm down with globalism is instructive.

quote:

And still, you can't get that the fiscal issue is a STATES issue.

Yeah, but Trump gets credit for the tax cuts, right?

Remember back in grade school the concept of checks and balances?

I don’t want a dictator in Washington. That’s why I won’t vote for the presidency anymore

What do you mean? The SEB got the GBI involved. At least that is what was in the news.

Covid. Whatever your thoughts on it, it happened. Most every state in the USA shut down. Next, as I stated, the constitution is what you are angry at.

You don't like the fact that a president does not control the money.

You also can not wrap your mind around the fact that's it's a states issue.

quote:

I prefer small government, a closed border, less power in permanent Washington, more power with the states - you know, conservative sort of things that aren't MAGA's thing.

You can say that you do, but your words above say differently. You want the president of the USA to control the money.

Did they have a 2/3rds vote in the Senate and House? No, they did not. With out his signature, it does not pass.

On Covid, it did not matter. The vote was pretty much 95% unanimous.

Because to people who support Trump it’s like rooting for a sports team. They just want to see him winning and live vicariously through him. Except nobody is really winning because the guy is a total sellout and a liar. He’s Hillary with a tie on

You so badly need to put people that have a different preferred candidate than you in some monolithic box. It says more about you than Trump supporters.

bullshite.

Ask a populist what needs to happen with healthcare in America or whether they think we should do away with SS and Medicare.

Here's another recent example: A populist will scream Deep State if the government won't intervene to stop employers from requiring COVID vaccines and they want the government to stop drug manufacturers from being able to advertise products.

The only "limited government" a populist wants is only limited by his or her personal preferences.

That's the whole point. Populists do not commit to any policy or policy philosophy. So whichever way the wind blows on any particular policy is what they follow.
