When?

Now. Biden has been hiding the real economy just so you could blame Trump. Congratulations.

SDV wants that.

He does.

I should be cheering it on too, considering I own real estate and my net worth is closely tied to it but I also understand that the current rate of appreciation has been unstable for a while now and a reset later would be much worse than a correction now. We need houses to return to affordability and not rely on cheap rates as that will just keep driving prices and at some point it will no longer be feasible for anyone to own. Of course, none of that may matter in the next 10-15 years as boomers die off and their first and second homes hit the market.

Extremely cheap rates deteriorate the middle class more than it helps.

As long as Democrats suffer, I’m willing to take the pain. I just hope they are miserable.

You might want to check and see who signed those laws

Trump signed them for CV19 but Biden expanded and extended them. The expansion has allowed FHA to abuse forbearance and hide how many people are behind on FHA loans. FNMA has also been hiding the data

It has come to light that FHA has abused forbearance programs. It's not a conspiracy but hard data

know SDV has been saying Powell needs to cut rates. Wouldn't that just pour gas on our inflation problem? I am way out of my depth discussing these things.

It would be unwise to start a more accommodative policy until inflation is truly put to bed. If we’re having to cut because the economy is headed for a recession, we better pray inflation is already under control.

You should be praising Trump for adding 200k jobs last month then.

This is all you losers have left. "It's going to be bad when X happens." Still waiting for X to happen. 8 years and none of your doom and gloom predictions have come true.

I'm sure you're right this time, though.

The clowns are the politicians you and many other Americans have voted for over the past 50 years who allowed corporations to offshore the factories that produce goods that are critical to the US economy and in turn threatens the sovereignty of the nation.

Show one quote saying "destroying the economy is good". There hasn't been anything destroyed by the current administration.
