There’s a difference between asking for accurate death statistics and reporting and pretending that “this is all made up.” There’s a couple people ITT that are doing exactly that.

If this is such a devastating global killer wouldnt the daily death rate be increasing? Even suicide victims are now included in the corona count, if having corona was noted in a suicide note.

You’ve got quite a start there. That’s going to put quite the dent in 50,000 deaths.
It is possible that both this virus response is overblown and that it’s still bad. We had a previously perfectly healthy co-worker admit to the hospital on Friday with a collapsed lung. The test came back positive the next day.
It’s not the Black Plague. It’s also not the flu. Those aren’t the only two options.

It’s justified early on and obligated not that long after unless there are issues.

I’m sympathetic to the idea. Especially if the system is really being gamed. But the tone has to be carefully balanced. Leading with “this is massive fraud” isn’t the best way to do it, especially with what we’re seeing in the data. The default shouldn’t be accusation but investigation. Until we have more investigation and data, there’s no use going off half-cocked. And to me, it appears that’s what she did.

Wife had a patient who died on Friday while presenting symptoms, and the coroner said they were not going to test.
They might be cooking the numbers, but they're not testing every death in the country.
