Exactly.
We're only going to see a few Somalis prosecuted for this.

I see you have already set yourself up for a future bitch session. You started off saying that no one would be arrested. Within a couple more posts in the same thread, you changed it to only Somalis will be prosecuted.

The situation just occurred, and you are already moving the goalposts.

You guys are easy to predict.

1. Nothing will happen
2. OK, people are getting arrested, but there will be no convictions
3. Yes, people are being convicted, but it's not the right people <-- you are here
4. Not everyone was arrested so that means nothing happened

If you really wanted to fix things, Trump needs to get rid of these programs altogether. That would be real progress. That needs to be the message.

They prosecuted the Somalis
and now we know that there were kickbacks in the form of donations to Democratic campaigns. There was no effort to go beyond the Somali's (to others benefitting) AND retribution on whistleblowers from politicians.

This is called a blind eye. Question is why the blind eye. Ideology? Financial gain? Both?

So no evidence (the SFP go to)! But they didn't investigate the next level up. No Somali's were pressured to testify against the next level up. 3 cases were dismissed by judges (one after a unanimous guilty verdict) so there's plenty of smoke to warrant an investigation.

Keep in mind the faud goes all the way back to Covid.

Goalposts: moved.

That was NOT the post to which I replied, and nobody is arguing that investigations should cease. The actual quote to which I replied was this;

quote:

Maybe the FBI needs to investigate its field office and the former US Attny (Andy Luger) there in Minniapolis.

Luger resigned the day Trump was sworn in.

There were whistleblowers, for years

That field office has a ton of skins on the wall

quote:

and now we know that there were kickbacks in the form of donations to Democratic campaigns.

That's not what a kickback is and we don't know of any actual kickbacks.

quote:

3 cases were dismissed by judges (one after a unanimous guilty verdict) so there's plenty of smoke to warrant an investigation.

Those were all state cases unrelated to the FBI sting, but what this shows is that the state was prosecuting fraud as well as the FBI.

For example

quote:

Hennepin County Judge Sarah West,

Not a federal judge, so that case is a completely separate case than the FBI sting.

The other 2 judges are also state judges and not federal ones.

... You do know they're going to collect all the evidence and then hide it like they have done for several decades now, right?

You mean like a "Clean-Up Operation??"

They are gonna slam those files right on Pam's desk, then expose and prosecute these perps! "And justice for all!"

You keep posting this in every thread but I haven’t been able to find any links to massive fraud arrests under Biden. Can you link a source please?

Leave it to totally "conservative," and "Libertarian" TDSFP to immediately come to the thread knighting for the Biden DOJ. His heroes.

Why are you ignoring the massive arrests and indictments done by the Biden DOJ? If they didn't sweep it under the rug, why would the Trump DOJ?

Bingo

This was another Dem-State money-laundering op gone wild. Who really believes the Somalians (avg 68 IQ) designed and ran this scam?

EVERY Dem-run state and its officials have likely been scamming Blue States all along, doing the same exact thing. What ought to be "surging" are perp-walks.

NOPE.

What is far more likely to happen is the federal government awarding billions in taxpayer dollars to a bunch of random overnight companies to investigate the root causes of why this happened. And that money will be stolen too. Cutting the federal funding for these programs is the only solution, which is why it will never be solved.
