“Sure” is the worst answer of the three. This would be like if someone asked JFK if he condemns homosexuality and homosexual rape that is so prevalent in the Catholic Church and he answers “sure”. That’s about as weak as it gets. It doesn’t actually address anything it makes it sound like a non committed answer and you want to move onto the next topic. “Absolutely” is just a comment that he tossed in then immediately tried to talk past it with a whataboutism ‘but’ qualifier. He’s not fooling anyone.
