People repeatedly assume that the X post is correct and make dumb assumptions when the real video shows the exact opposite of what is claimed
He did in fact denounce the Muslim brotherhood and his answer seemed reasonable. That said, I don't know that much about him because I don't follow Michigan senate races. He could be a shite candidate for all I know. But his answer there was completely sane and anyone that argues otherwise is a lunatic.

If you watch the actual video “Tommy” is actually a paid employee of Josh Hawley and gets humiliated. This video helps Sayed and is yet another unforced error. But of course you live in a different reality.

To an objective observer, El-Sayed mopped the floor with Tommy. El-Sayed clearly denounced the Muslim Brotherhood.
The point about Kennedy not being a Catholic president, but rather a president who happens to be Catholic was spot on.
Also, the importance of the Constitutional protection of freedom of worship (or not to worship) was great.
Apparently, giving honest and thorough answers to a critic makes El-Sayed an ahole in your eyes. Why am I not surprised.

There are hundreds of reasons to be against El-Sayed. Why lie to make up one that isn't true?
At the 15 second mark of the video Jbird weirdly posted to show how honest and direct El-Sayed was, El-Sayed "absolutely" denounces the Muslim Brotherhood.

I wouldn’t classify him as an a-hole necessarily, but I would ask why he filibustered the question and chose to go that direction instead of addressing the ties to the MB.
