Anyone with $1000 can get a seat at a table at a fund-raiser. Trump met and chatted-up thousands of donors at these things - as does every major candidate.

So I take it you're of the thinking that even back then Trump's mind was on hamstringing Biden? Because that's currently the most prominent allegation as to why Trump canned the lady, because "she was obstructing his and Rudy's Biden efforts."

ETA....and as for this know-nothing Parnas character, this is what happens when you let children sit at the grownup table.

CNN trying to say Trump was telling Parnas in the recording to get rid of her. Think how asinine that assertion is. Oh, and it would seem to me that with this recording they've shot to hell their claim that Trump fired that lady because she was getting in the way of Operation Bye-Biden, given the fact that Trump was mulling her dismissal in the recording (April 2018) at a time when Biden was insisting he wasn't interested in running for President. Lol

I haven't read the whole thread and I imagine this has been covered but I thought Ambassadorships were pretty plum assignments and usually went to major contributors or friends of the President. Plus, most are replaced when the new President takes over. It really doesn't matter what ABC thinks they have because all Ambassadors serve at the behest of their boss, i.e., the President.
