I couldn't imagine the heartbreak of working hard enough to be a state champion only to have it stolen from you in this fashion. What an absolute travesty and disgrace. My heart truly goes out to her.
I feel that one of the big reasons this isn't getting more attention is because people are thinking "ho hum, these transgenders are such a small minority that it won't make a big difference."
Except that it only takes one person to set the record.
All you need is one transgender in each state. After that, it won't be long until every single record in women's athletics in the nation is held by a biological male.

No kidding. What if some guy says he identifies as female but doesn't want to go through hormone therapy until after high school? What then? Are the powers that be gonna "discriminate" against him/her/it?
What a clown show.
I remember not too long ago that there was a HUGE stink in the Olympics because the East German women were all roided up. Is this any different?

"Transgender Athletes must complete their gender process to qualify for their new gender competitions."
Yep, all the questions that follow will deem every single one of them unqualified...as they should be.
I am getting tired of this sick world hijacking common sense..
If you have to change your name, take drugs, change how your dress, have weird surgeries to look different, let your hair grow out, and you still have a set of nuts dangling between your legs and never once had to use a tampon as intended, you're a male with mental problems.
1 and 2 are disqualified

While I agree with this....frick em, let them lay in this bed that they've made. These might just be two dudes that are fully committed to the part, so they can win championships and get scholarships, which they would not have otherwise gotten. After college they will become men again. Wouldn't that be something to see in a few more years as far more of these occurrences happen with time.
Also, on another thought. According to these mentally ill supporters, aren't sex and gender two different things? Aren't sports based on physical ability and divided between male and female based on sex? Or are they concluding that these "It's Ma'am!" types are successfully becoming women by taking hormones, etc? Clearly, almost all of them look and sound exactly like a woman after taking hormones...
