Trump is losing me slowly but surely if we stay on this course.

Spare the BS as I have been as MAGA as it gets but the past few weeks have been rough for Trump and full of bad decisions.

Not looking good Stout. The thinking base isn't enthused by this past week. I wonder if the pressure is getting to him.

He will get on twitter and throw some red meat out there and plenty will fall back in line.

I don't think so. Not for me. I was one of those that really didn't have any expectations for MAGA. I believed if he did nothing, it was a victory compared to HRC.

He delivered on SC and tax cuts. He threw out some low ball tariffs for the steel industry, which I think he could have carried some weight come October in the rust belt.

I think the pressure has got to him. Some chickens from his past are coming home to roost. Dogs with fleas. He doesn't have any natural Washington allies. The ones he did he has jettisoned for many reasons.

You never want your staff "going into business for themselves" like Bannon did. But Bannon did keep him singularly focused and grounded. And for someone like Trump, that's necessary.

That red meat better be along the lines of "President Xi and I worked out the trade problem. All is well."

He's become very establishment. This is what happens when you have little ideology and the people around you are stronger than you.

The negative of voting for a demagogue unmoored from any particular ideology is that you get a demagogue unmoored from any particular ideology.

Who could have predicted that?

@real is and always has been a fricking moron, as the former SoS so astutely noted. Told you so, so many times.

This. He has never had fixed positions on anything for more than a couple of years. He will do and say anything to make him popular with the the person he is with at the time.

Typical LSU fan are you? The trade war was already started a long time ago by China. It is about time we had a president who has the balls and the know how to bring this back in order. He will gain much respect at home an abroad will this trade deficit gets in line the way in should have been.

It should scare the bejeezus out of anyone having Bolton and Trump deciding foreign policy.

At least there were some big personalities in the W white house to keep him under control. Better buckle up now boys.

I thought Trump was pretty solid from December through February and was thinking that Bannon may have been the underlying issue. But March, this may be his worst month yet. Just a disaster.

The only issue I have is the no wall budget.

I 100% understand the "man" for the job approach. I have no issues bringing on people to accomplish the task at hand.

The new people are there to handle China and Iran.

I have no issue with VA and Military spending.
