They're being so bold because they're all in and have been all in for quite some time now. Trump forced them to accelerate their plans and once they openly stole an election their only route forward is full-on authoritarianism. And the more it becomes obvious to Joe Citizen, the harder they will crack down.
They have been backed into a corner and have lost. We just have to watch them lash out for a bit before it ends.

From the GOP camp. They'll transition to Democrat before they have to put forth effort. At least the Democrats when in the minority did some heavy lifting. Or whoever is behind the Democratic party did.

Going to need someone in authority somewhere to make a move. Whether that be a Governor, a state AG, or a Sherriff. I think Glenn Beck has coined this the "Bubba effect".

Indeed.
Without governors of conservative states, that's all it would be. A mass civil unrest that would get quashed and give the regime a reason to ruin the lives of thousands of americans.
The balkanization of the American states is probably the only way forward. We are being fleeced by the federal government to fund dystopian inner cities in liberal states and sheltering the elites from having to deal with the problems they've created.
We are United in name only. The USA is too deeply divided to remain as it is. I simply don't want to be ruled by the mentality the left has cultivated and is trying to cultivate.
