Yes, absolutely. Now FBI agents can just browse the NSA's massive database of recorded intel at any time. The more people that have access to such material, the greater the chance it is abused.

This is the logical consequence of both parties supporting bills like the Patriot Act and giving unyielding deference to groups like the NSA and the CIA. Do you think the largest spying apparatus in world history is really needed to combat several thousand Muslim radicals in the third world? Our spying apparatus has been implemented and run without any oversight specifically to protect those in power and their interests.
