This will result in massive fraud and unacceptable and incomplete work and services.
A few years ago there was some kind of reparations made to black farmers. All of sudden we discovered that there were millions of black farmers.

The Government took the land and resources from the Natives and gave it to the colonists. If the Government can give, it can take.
Such a lazy, vapid attempt to make a point.

Let me guess, the straight white male is at the bottom of the list AGAIN.
The straight white male wjll end up being the subcontractor and do all of the work while the minority contractor collects their 50% of the contract for doing nothing.

They should give that money to a white guy because white men are always overcoming diversity

Aren't white.people.the minority in NYC?

Da hell does the 17th, 18th and 19th century land distribution have to do with this?

It is like I said, to the victor goes the spoils.

Mayor Mamdani’s Preliminary Racial Equity Plan moves in the opposite direction. The city’s no-bid rule shows, in dollars and contracts, what that direction means in practice: a quarter-billion in IT spending alone, awarded on the basis of race, without competition, in the largest city in the U.S.
So where are the federal judges with their injunctions? Seems like a pretty clear transgression of 42 USC 1941.

What?? There were no federal or state laws against reappropriating land in that way back then. There is the trifecta of federal, state, and local laws against Mandami.
And apparently since federal judges have issued more injunctions in Trump's two terms than at least the last few presidents combined, your premise is incorrect.

Are cities not bound by the constitution? How is this legal?
They should be destroyed by lawsuits
