The Church merely recognized and received what God provided.

This gets parroted a lot on this board, but this is legitimately not how it actually happened.

The church didn't receive a letter in the mail from God with a list of the books that were to be canonized.

Instead, the Church dogmatically declared what was inspired.

Actually God said he is God of the living NOT the dead. People don't just suddenly cease to be a part of the church when they die.
The living vs dead isn’t really the point of calling that out. It’s that the dead (even those in God’s immediate presence in Heaven) are not made divine in their death and therefore do not have the ability to receive prayers from millions of people all over the world as an omniscient God can.

We are commanded explicitly to pray for one another (for, not to, mind you) but never commanded to pray to anyone but God.

This is about authority. What the Church did is recognize what God had created. The canon is the list of books that God inspired. The Church made a declaration about what God has written.

The Bible is the word of God, not the word of the Church.

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature - 2 Peter 1:4

It is through God they can hear with no merit of their own.

So if God doesn’t exist then how would you explain the universe starting from nothing ?

Agenda 2030 will be retooled and renamed when Trump wins.

Elon & Peterson will be the Two-witnesses and Trump will become the new Pope, Saint Trumpus the 1st

Huh? I'm having some lighthearted fun with a Bama fan on the night they lost to Vandy.

Trump's daughter is married to a Jew. Elon wouldn't be caught dead in the corruption of the American Catholic Church.

Christendom revival won't be in the name of Catholicism.

Every time I see threads like these it makes me so sad. Especially in the world we live in.

We alone have no hope. Evil is completely united, just as Jesus said. But we are so completely fractured, we, as the church will never come together without divine intervention.

Leave the denominations at the door. Follow the words of Christ, brothers.

Mark 3:25
If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

So, one mediator between man and God. That’s Jesus. No one comes to the father but by me. Also Jesus. If you think that Paul said anything contrary to what Jesus taught, you are severely mistaken.

Additionally we will see the mainline Protestant churches wither as they preach a false Gospel that is incompatible with a traditional discernment of Christianity.

Please enlighten me what is false about what Protestant churches teach

If Constantine, who founded the Catholic Church had a vision of the cross and set out to find its origin, which was found with groups of people worshiping Christ, then how could the Catholic Church be the first church?

There shall in that time be rumors of things going astray, erm, and there shall be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia-work base, that has an attachment. At that time, a friend shall lose his friend's hammer, and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before, about eight o'clock.

Catholics are retarded. They don’t even follow the Bible. God is 1 God not 3. Plus worshiping popes, Mary and other saints is literally retarded as well. No one has ever defected from Protestantism to Catholicism but opposite is extremely common. Now why would that be?
