What is a Christian? For over 1200 years, it was anyone who affirmed the truths within the Nicene Creed, which was written by the Catholic church.

Please tell me what, for instance, the Southern Baptist or PCA Presbyterians preach that is false.

There is absolutely nothing about heretical worship of Mary and praying to mortals that will draw people en masse to Jesus.

Find a new religion. Catholicism isn’t what you’re searching for.

He said Catholicism, not Protestantism where the goal is to believe as little as possible while still believing in some very vague sense.
As a Protestant, I reject the goal you provided. I believe the goal is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, which would mean that we should learn as much about Him through the Word as we can. We should also not have a general, non-specific belief, but a specific belief in the Biblical God and the salvation He gave us through Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son.

Also known as Collyridianism, was condemned as a heresy by none other than the Catholic church.

praying to mortals

Praying to, or praying through? Also, they're immortal if they're in the afterlife.

This has been my stance on catholicism for a couple decades. Not sure what Vandy has to do with it.

Catholicism has perverted Christianity to something unrecognizable when compared to New Testament theology, to include the heretical worship of mortal Mary & of course the prayer to mortal dead men & women.

Good move, Mr. Musk. Warning, though - unless you get married, your sex life will diminish to zilch.

Elon Musk will convert to Catholicism ala Jordan Peterson. Once this happens we will see a massive exodus of the lost souls following the Mega churches/ Passion Cities/Elevation Churches/Righteous Gemstones etc to the Catholic or Orthodox Church.

Additionally we will see the mainline Protestant churches wither as they preach a false Gospel that is incompatible with a traditional discernment of Christianity.

Trump, Musk and Peterson will usher in a new enlightened era of Christendom that will ultimately save the West.

You can't do either. You can pray to Jesus Christ, God His Father and the Holy Spirit. And if you can't express your prayer to God because of the pain you are or you don't know what to pray for, the Holy Spirit will intercede for you. Nobody else needs to be prayed through, to or anything else. They cannot ihear your prayers and therefore cannot intercede.

Correct. This is the Biblical example.

Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved. It is a gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Hebrews 12:6 Those that come to God, must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.
1st Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between man and God. That being Christ Jesus.

Literally not a single Christian who lived prior to the reformation agrees with you. Hell, even the original reformers disagree with you.

The Apostle John disagrees with you.

In Revelation 5:8, he sees the saints in heaven offer prayers from Earth to God in the form of incense.

Jesus disagrees with you. During the transfiguration he talks to Moses and Elijah, both of whom had been dead for over a thousand years at this point. And yet, they seem completely aware of Jesus coming exodus which would be accomplished in Jerusalem.

I agree with Paul that works of Torah, or the Mosaic law, cannot save us.

quote:

1st Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between man and God. That being Christ Jesus.

You skipped the first 4 verses where Paul tells us that we should offer intercession for one another, and that it pleases God to do so. Verse 5, therefore, does not mean that nobody can intercede to Jesus on our behalf.

BuT (duuuuuuuur) pEoPlE oN eArTh ArE aLiVe UnLiKe YoUr SaInTs In HeAvEn (duuuuuuuuur)

Actually God said he is God of the living NOT the dead. People don't just suddenly cease to be a part of the church when they die.

God did. The Church merely recognized and received what God provided.

It never ceases to amaze me how many acts and characteristics of God that Roman Catholics want to attribute to others.
