Why would I trust a lib concerning Rs?

Because liberals want Republicans to win. That's been their pitch since the 60s. Retarded? Yes. But that's what they do. I guess some people believe them.

I would prefer Walker or Amash as VP to Paul. Are there any black conservatives that he could pick? That would trump the race card the libs will try to use

Condi? Holy shite would they have a field day with the ties to Bushie and illegal unfunded wars. You would see the War on Womenz part II. Only thing that would get the libs and the press into a bigger frenzy is if Carson would stump for the Rs.

Uh...moderate voters? No liberal is going to vote for a Republican in 2016 just as no conservative will vote for a Democrat.

How do you define moderate? Would you include people who have voted for both Republicans and Democrats in Presidential elections?

If you believe some folks on this board, Rice would win 95% of the Black vote if she ran against Hillary because according to them, the only thing that matters to Black voters is race.

She would get a feeding frenzy even Palin didn't get.

Mostly undecided voters. Some who vote Republican one year and Democrat the next. Those kinds of people.

That sounds like what I said.

What we're basically talking about is the people who wait until they see who the nominees are before they decide who to vote for, as opposed to the Republican and Democrat locksteppers.

Folks who think Cruz can attract moderates must be politically tone deaf.

Right now I'd lean toward Paul-Portman (bland but competent). 2016 is a long way off though. The campaign will raise some boats, and sink others. The press is going to be all over Paul.

If he can break through, Paul could use someone with a little flash. Maybe a Nikki Haley, or perhaps Rubio.

Paul negates any bush era foreign intervention. Condi is a smart gal. First lesbian vp would go a long way toward breaking up the minority voting blocks.

that's a very, very small portion of the electorate right now

romney may have under-estimated with his "47%" comment
