Add VA, the oldest southern state, to that group. We would need to drive a few million people out of Northern Virginia and take DC so the Yankees don't have it. Might as well add Maryland so our capital is safe.

Doesn't even need to be that many. Tan, red, orange, and gray make 1. Northern CA, eastern Oregon, eastern washington, all of Virginia outside of NOVA, western PA, and the western panhandle of Maryland go to the new large middle group.

Why not just drop the two blue and the pale blue\whiteish one.
Its where most of the food is grown and oil and gas is. It would be nice to have a corridor to the pacific but if the blue states wont sell maybe Mexico would sell a mile wide strip.

I would 100% be on board with that map if Texas has control over LA, Arkansas, and Oklahoma governments.
