Rittenhouse continued down the street without incident only after defending himself against the goons who pursued and attacked him. Even then, Rittenhouse only defended himself after making repeated attempts to retreat. This is a textbook case of justified self defense.

Why is he in jail? Seriously?
Because he committed a murder? On camera?

That murder is ALMOST CERTAINLY justified, and he will ALMOST CERTAINLY not be convicted, but that is a question for the jury.

Now, the question of bail is a different issue. $2 million? Seriously? That kid is no flight risk.

Oh look. The shitty “lawyer” that thinks the mccloskeys destroyed their own gate doesn’t even know the definition of murder. Shocking.

Last time I can recall was the BLM march in downtown Dallas and several Dallas PD officers were murdered that night.

No smart arse, it was not a MURDER. You claim to be a fricking lawyer. You ever hear the term justifiable MURDER? Hint: you haven’t.

A shite-ton of people have committed crimes on camera in Wisconsin. This is plainly not about law and order.

And wouldn't it be more accurate to say he committed a homicide on camera?

Wouldn’t the proper term at this point in time be homicide? I’m no high brow lawyer though.

True. I used the vernacular term.

"cause he is a criminal in Wisconsin. It is a misdemeanor in Wisconsin for a 17 year old to be in possession of a "dangerous weapon" for any reason without adult supervision. If there is adult supervision and the child accidentally or intentionally shoots someone the adult is guilty of a felony. There is no stand you ground law in Wisconsin...if you ain't on your property and it is reasonable that you can retreat you are required to do so. Dude was definitely able to retreat afterwards but brandished the gun threateningly...on video...which is a felony in Wisconsin. Kids mama is also going to go to jail and thank goodness for "common sense". If you start a fight, start getting your arse kicked, pull a gun and shoot the person kicking your arse you are doing a GRAVE disservice to people who truly feel the need to carry a gun and have enough sense to do so without using it after they start a fight they can't finish. Any rational gun owner who knows they have a right to own a gun is disturbed by this kids idiotic actions..

Didn’t he just request 30 days for his extradition hearing so he could assemble his wrecking crew legal team? Hearing on Sep 25

In the purest legal sense, as of now rittenhouse killed 2 people. He hasn’t committed a murder until convicted of doing so.

As a “lawyer” aren’t you supposed to know that?

There is no common vernacular usage where murder is a lawful or justified killing. The semantic range of murder is all within the idea of unlawful.
