You keep going on about black "black obsessed". Do you realize your own post counts in these threads are really high?

The moral of the story? The cab driver was from D.C. and was black. He flat out stated, "I hate driving past a black guy in the cold and rain. If it's a couple or a family, I typically stop, no problem. A single black guy in a suit or otherwise well-dressed is usually no problem. But 1 or more sketchy black dudes, especially at night? I'm sorry, but I have bigger responsibility to go home to my family than to be colorblind."
This describes 99% of people. Their priorities are to their families, not to social PC dogma.
I have a friend who went into teaching with the intent of working in at risk high schools. Former military guy.
And, he did. For four years, he worked in a primarily black school. After that, he left. Why? His wife demanded it. She told him that if he wanted ANOTHER job where she had to worry for his safety, he might as well have gone and become a cop.
He'd been assaulted twice. His car had been vandalized. He'd been threatened many more times.
He works in a majority white school district now.
Oh. Forgot to add..
He's black.

Yea I'm bored at work and feel like engaging today. Every once in a while I gotta let you people know what the deal is.

That creates a perception on the whole of society.
The media DOES rank in the top-10 impediments to black upward mobility

You're not wrong. I've had a number of minority cab drivers (including Africans) tell me they refuse to go into predominantly black areas for rides. This is anecdotal. But, my impression is that is due to either personal bad experiences or knowledge of bad experiences in those areas.
I don't think it's because my Ethiopian uber driver hate black people. It's because of prejudice developed due to personal knowledge or reputation (which is fallible).
Yes, it totally blows that you get lumped in with criminals. I don't expect you to account for people who share your skin tone. But, I do expect that any reasonable person would acknowledge that there is a difference between lingering racism among the white community (which exists) and prejudice held by a large variety of ethnicities against the black community on account of the prevalence of crime within the black community.

"Statistics" ie a nice excuse for them to cover up or be lazy about their own moral failings.

The media has a large hand in that as well. They never pass up an opportunity to remind us that blacks and whites are supposed to dislike one another.
Example: Trayvon

I don't get nervous around young black males in a dark parking lot because I have an inherent dislike for black males.
To the extent I get nervous, it's because pretty much every random act of violence that I am made aware of that is committed in the metro Atlanta area has a black perpetrator. The chances that this imaginary guy intends to engage in criminal conduct is low, so my fear is fairly irrational. I can admit these things, but the selectivity of my fear isn't the product of hate.

Regardless of the phrasing/spin/rationalization, I get lumped in with criminals because of no other reason besides skin, per your post. Very frustrating. That's a little different than being thought of as a poor basketball player or a poor track runner because of your skin, no? Like I said earlier, its always easy to say "get over it" or "well that's just the way it is" when you are not part of the group getting the short end of the stick. I don't dwell on it, and I just go about my day. But I feel for those who encounter this much more than I do.

Yea I'm bored at work and feel like engaging today. Every once in a while I gotta let you people know what the deal is.
Regardless, until blacks start at least ask "why do seemingly nice white people still hold some views we don't like" and answer it with something other than "that's racist", I don't see much potential for improvement.
Case in point. I can guarantee you that if I grabbed 100 black people at random and asked them if conservative white voters in South Carolina were generally racist, I'd get a majority of yes answers. Probably a WIDE majority.

I made a totally honest post that acknowledged that, so I think it is a little absurd that you characterize it as "spin/rationalization." I don't equate the plight of white people in America to the plight of black people. I do object to the concept that prejudice must be the product of hatred, and that I must dislike the President because I hate black people, etc.
I also object to the concept that prejudice against black people and the privilege attributed to white people are the same things. Don't discredit my story (not you, generally) just because you're (again, generally) encountering obstacles not within your control.

-Lack of glorification of education
-Borg-like collective cultural mind-prisons
-Lack of social accountability
-Blame culture
-Lack of cohesive functioning family unit
-Irresponsible sexual behavior
