Does anybody fricking know the Indians are the Guardians? Does any Washington fan think they aren't the Redskins?
Does anyone know all the local tribes are okay with it? It's only people external to the situation that have a problem with it. Even Chief Noc A Homa himself is a damn Braves fan.

The Red Sox got accused of doing the same things the Astros did and more with regard to cheating and even hired a key Astros management member IIRC.

They’ve been the Braves since 1871. It is the oldest franchise in baseball. When I was a kid, they were still playing in Boston (before they became the Milwaukee Braves). There are still geezers in the Northeast and Midwest who follow the Braves.

Braves, Indians, Seminoles, Redskins, Utes, etc., etc., why are these names offensive? These names were chosen to honor native Americans, not to disparage. Does anyone think "Tigers" was chosen to dishonor large predatory black stripe felines? Actually, using their names this way retains their memory in history, otherwise they will be forgotten. BTW, my wife is 25% Cherokee and she has no desire to tell Jeep and Piper aircraft to quit using her ethnic roots to name their vehicles.
