A legitimate republican candidate still wins this election comfortably in a state like Alabama. Let's not forget his race was predicted to be closer than usual for a republican in that state long before the allegations, precisely because he's the type of "conservative" even most Trump supporters cringe at.

Moore wins without the allegations don't get me wrong, but his complete ineptitude and stupidity allowed them to matter.

Nominate better people Bama

And outsiders like Mitch McConnell and Steve Bannon need to stop backing losers that people hate.

When you're too much of a Bible thumping blowhard for Alabama to tolerate, it's time to re-evaluate your worldview.

I think Bannon gets a pass here. He's trying to bring down Mitch. I'm OK with that.

Even with the allegations, Moore should've won.

Moore had an incompetent campaign and hid in his safe space instead of working to earn votes. Moore is completely responsible for this loss tonight.

Eh, he would've won even with those kids of views.

The pedo stuff did him him in.

Not when it comes to making safe red seats a democrat squeaker.

His enthusiasm is fine but only to a certain degree.

I hate Mitch and he's exactly right when he says that winners make policy and losers go home.

If the GOPe would have butted out, they probably would have. Moore was a response to the establishment.
