A Blast From the Past - This 2016 "PSA" is A Perfect Example of Why Hollywood is So Hated

Many here may remember this, but some of you may not have seen it. Hollywood is so phony that, after Trump won the 2016 election, these fools actually put out what I would describe as a 6very bizarre type of PSA, virtually begging Trump electors not to vote for him when they convened in December, 2016 to officially elect Trump.
Some of these people, like Debra Messing, have literally disappeared. Others, like Martin Sheen and Mike Farrell, are simply older than dirt now.
But if this bizarre action on their part doesnt perfectly highlight the serious dysfunction and disconnect which exists in Hollywood then I don't know what would.

I have an older female cousin who has hated me ever since 2015 when Trump came on the scene. She has TDS to the max. She came and sat down beside me at some family function in the Summer of 2016 and said, out of the blue, "Why can't you see that Trump is a dictator?"
I replied, "He's never even held elective office, so how does your comment even make sense?" She got up and walked away, and thankfully she's never spoken to me since.

That's a good one. It might've been in response to this, which is so cringe that I actually thought it was an intentional parody at first. They should've hired some writers, because this missed the mark so bad.
For some crazy reason I would've thought Robert Downey, Jr. would've been smarter than this. But, no.....

He's a former p.o.s. drug addict. Cured then a relapse, then cured, then a relapse. Throughout the late 1990s, he faced repeated arrests for drug possession and probation violations. This culminated in a three-year prison sentence in California in 1999. You thought he was smart?
