But now that PACs can be funded by the big boys and operate anywhere in any race they choose, you want to restrict donations that go to directly to the candidates.

No, not directly to the candidates. Dollars used for political purposes in a district, but anyone, have to originate from a business or resident of that district.

Does anyone actually think Handel will win, though? I get that the conservative vote was split up all to Hell, but you'd basically have to assume she wins over ALL of the other people's voters in order to pull it out of her arse.

The commercial she ran that ended with her taking a shot at Ossof for "playing with light sabers in his college dorm room" kinda left me thinking she was a bit of a twit. Of all the things she could attack him on, she attacks him for being a typical (Georgia Tech) college student?

It's like someone from outside of the election is trying to manipulate the results.......

I'd hammer home he fact that he hitched his DC wagon to arguably the single dumbest male in the House - Hank Johnson. I would also key in on the fact that there's no way he could adequately represent the 6th when he doesn't even live there.

Besides, when was the last time a Dem ran on fiscal responsibility.

Plus, Han Solo.

Just spitballing here, but look at some of the bad federal laws we have on the books. They were forced on us by 98 Senators and 434 Representatives we can't vote out of office, but we still have to live with the consequences of their decisions.

Donating to an opponent gives us a chance to get rid of individual mandate supporters or marijuana prohibitionists or SJW culture warriors.

It just would be hard to police that with PACs, because their message is, in many cases, idealistic driven.

Georgia was seriously considered in play in the presidential election. It's a strategic move: get a few D wins and see if they can capture the state in 2020.

Ossoff spent 6M, and had more than that spent on ads attacking him directly by the RNC, NRCC, and Republican PACs.

None of those are 'from' GA, either. Suck it up, snowflakes.

Nobody has ever accused Karen Handel of being smart or politically savvy...

Perhaps because as conservatives we believe in freedom and that people can do what they wish with their money. If the people of Georgia want outside interest telling them how to vote, then that is their choice to make. Handel needs to hammer the point of the outside interest telling them what to do.

Karen Handle is a political hack. She is not well-liked among North Fulton's Republicans. I doubt she'll get all the votes that went to other Repubs in that race. Ossoff may win with just the 49.1% who voted for Dems in that race. That number might be 53% of the June 20 vote total.
