^^THIS. The pussification of the country. The product of many years of hard and consistent work on the part of the left. Don't think for a minute this started when Biden took office. How old are you?

Too many people in this thread I would NOT want in my foxhole. Thank God the American Revolution was then and not now.

My local area is worth fighting for, nothing else. Certainly not on foreign soil. The legacy of 911 is the crackdown on law abiding American citizens.

Agreed. I care about people, but feel like fool for being part of the machine that led to the events of the last 2.5 years among others.

We still need to fight, but must realize we have no friends in fedgov, they hate normies

I think the 2015 movie 'Tomorrowland' could be a not too subtle message / warning of what some are actually attempting.

The basic message certainly lines up.

All this chaos is being done on purpose. With intent. It's so overt that many participants may not even realize it.

Yeah, I get it. You’re not wrong. I was watching football after a long day of kids games and realized it was in fact, 9/11. I hadn’t given it a thought until then, and that occurred to me how significant it had always been in the past.

I’ll never forget the feelings, the people involved, the impact. This many years later I guess the lesson is that there’s a blurred line between the good guys and bad guys. It’s not WWII, and we can’t really trust the good guys.

I’m no longer proud of my service in uniform and out. On a personal level, sure I am, but I don’t think it helped anything, whereas I used to believe so.

I put out my flag still, couldn’t help myself. We should keep fighting, just be aware that those in charge hate us.

I never served but I can certainly understand the OP’s sentiments. Every time I watch a documentary about Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan from a soldier’s personal experience I don’t know whether to cry or to organize a protest in the Imperial City as a warning to the immoral and unrighteous rat bastards who continue to use America’s best as their war toys.

This is new information to you?

I realized it when Mike's wife got re-elected.

But why would Hollywood produce such a movie if they're IN on it?

Hubris and arrogance?

Honest folk like you and many on this Board were caught off guard and took a blind punch with the outright criminality via 'plausible deniability thanks to Covid) stolen election. The Dems and their Machine (MSM, Deep State Bureaucracy, Academia, bought and paid for Dem Welfare Base, mis-guided and duped Greens, Idealistic Youth and the legit Authoritarian/Egalitarian Socialist (Transnational Progressive) Movement has put the Constitutional Republic on its back. The numbers of smart and honest folk are there, as the Trump Nation vote proves, but the overt and ruthless action (Jan. 6) of the above Cabal has somewhat stifled the Right's response. We have reached a point of all or nothing; many like you are deflated as we realize the only TWO options since the Dems have gone all in. Either 'call' their play, adopt the same rules and tactis that they play by and take the gloves off...or lay down to their rule. We all know what the former entails, and we daily see what the latter will as well. Big time Banana Republic persecution of political oppostion with total censorship and ursurpation of individual Rights, even unto the State becoming the determiningg factor for the souls/minds of 'the' (our) children.

Hit the wrong key and posted early. To summarize, there is a lot to happen, with a likely and 'engineered collapse' of the USD dead ahead. And IMO, THAT will create the dynamic that will determine which Side prevails. Think back to just a couple of years ago when this Nation was on top, like LSU. It can happen again given honest policy, but there will have to be a MAJOR cleaning house for such to occur.

All things considered, go to Faith, if that is an option. For some it will be, other it won't. Think William James' "open proposition".

Thanks for your service. God speed.
