42

(1,957 unknown)

72% are 65 and older

Why the hell are we not collecting and blasting this data nationwide and using it to drive policy?

I’ve read where up to 60% of NYers are obese.

And how many with certified test showing COVID as the cause - putting the assumptive COVIDs in another column somewhere.

Strictly TESTED for COVID. Less than half would be my bet.

100% of the 7,890 are confirmed COVID deaths, with an additional 4309 probable COVID deaths, and an additional 3,500+ excess deaths above normal deaths expectations that aren’t included.

Would be more helpful if they excluded hypertension or qualified it in terms of being poorly controlled/requiring 2 or more medications etc...about 1/3 of people over 50-60 have “hypertension,” so it doesn’t make you feel too much better if it’s killing a bunch of people with simple hypertension in absence of other significant comorbidity.

Yes, hypertension and obesity pad the underlying conditions stat.

Confirmed by NIH/CDC "standards". Have you read that bullshite?

And NYC stats are no better than ChiCom stats. Same ideology governs them.

Obesity and hypertension are both conditions caused by a person's own damn choices and don't apply to healthy and responsible parts of the population, so hell yeah they should be counted as underlying conditions. If this virus only killed meth addicts I'd be saying hell yeah, open everything up, it's their own damn fault. Stop punishing healthy and young Americans.

This is what you asked:

And the assumptive COVID’s are somewhere else; it’s another “row” instead of a “column.”

Most of the young and those non-comorbid were probably "presumptive" Covid and died of heroin overdoses or natural causes...
