Are you implying that businesses wait to raise the prices until they receive a higher priced shipment?
This here is the winning sentence on this board all week.

Let's see if the price at the pump falls as rapidly as it rose. Nawwwww.
That shite is criminal
Oil was at 90+ dollars for less than 48 hours but they’ll have gas prices at that equivalent level for 3 weeks then gradually drop it a nickel a week

Further, why would globalists want to support Iran in this?

It’s the neocon globalists who want forever wars to force countries like Iran and Ukraine into the NWO.
The collective boogeyman that Iran presented on the world stage kept the other forces in constant, profitable opposition for the last nearly 50 years.

They cut production bc there is nowhere for the oil to go. The holding tanks and shipping tanks are all full. No one is moving oil, oil stops pumping.

You realize that you won’t see it at the pump until that business gets a new fuel shipment with the lower prices. They aren’t going to take a loss on the fuel already in their tanks.
Then why did they raise prices immediately after oil jumped instead of waiting until a new fuel shipment with higher prices came in?
The high prices lasted so short a timeframe that most gas stations likely won’t even get a shipment that reflects 120 dollar oil
Posted on 3/10/26 at 2:37 pm to High C
No but the stations will certainly raise prices immediately on fuel already purchased at lower costs.
It’s probably the only time they can increase their margins.

Price gouging laws stop this.

Yet they said it went up instantly in anticipation of a price surge even though they had fuel in the tanks they paid cheaper for.

Something big was just the US Secretary of Energy manipulating the market.

Gasoline price gouging laws prohibit unconscionably excessive price hikes on fuel during declared states of emergency, natural disasters, or supply disruptions. These state-level laws, enforced by Attorneys General, typically penalize price increases exceeding specific thresholds (often 10–20%) over pre-emergency levels.

I agree but I learned years ago.... volatility in oil (and perhaps other markets) is always paid for by the end consumer.
In exchange, stability (and eventually) lower gas prices from competition are our benefit, long term.

It’s like raising prices on the Gulf Coast when the hurricane is still in the Atlantic.
