Basically the same is happening in New Orleans.
My theory (based on a scholarly paper I read) different ethnicities produce higher levels of angeotenson enzyme 2(ACE2). From highest to lowest it’s like this:
Chinese
Eastern Asian
African
Southern Asian
America (north and south)
European
Older overweight males tend to produce more ACE2 and combine that with race then you have the highest levels of ACE2.
COVID uses ACE2 to invade the cell.

I drive through Ruston to work, I see more blacks out in town than whites. I've also seen them gathered at gas stations and side streets. I figured the rates would be higher for black people.

Certain demographics refuse to consider conforming to "The Man" and are going about their way of life with gusto. Many are in high anticipation of getting high on that government check that they or their associate received or ripped off.
