Correct. Trump has said a lot of things about Canada and its leadership, very little about the citizenry. It’s an attempt to get Canada to pull their head out of its own arse.
I guess some folks don’t remember the massive fentanyl trafficking that Canada has allowed over our northern border, …. the human trafficking same.
Meanwhile Canada has only their leadership to blame for their assembly economy … and their ignorance in trade agreements

You would think we kicked sand in their vagina after tapping that sweet arse for gold a couple months ago.

Its our job to keep Fent out of our country. Its Canadas to keep it out of theirs.
All of this over 43 lbs of Fentanyl. Canada is not the problem.
quote:
Federal statistics show US border authorities seized 21,889 pounds of fentanyl in the 2024 fiscal year. Of that amount, 43 pounds were seized at the Canadian border — about 0.2% — compared with 21,148 pounds at the Mexican border, about 96.6%.

So you are saying that all the focus was on the Canadian border and that there isn’t fentanyl being produced up North?

Not to the point of histrionics of Trump at the time.
The stats dont lie.

Between the powers that be in China and the USA, which ones have actually stated they want to take over Canada?
Canadians enjoy far less freedom in speech and press, the right to bear arms, freedom to contract, freedom of private property ownership, etc. King Chuck the Cuck is their titular head of state. In fact, 90% of Canada is “Crown Land”.
All of this begs the question, “How can a nation whose citizens enjoy more freedom be a threat to a nation whose subjects enjoy less?” The USA is a threat to Canadian security in the same way that the USA is/was a threat to the security of Iran, the Hamas strip, the Chi-coms, the Bolsheviks, and the Nazis.

85% of Canada lives within 100 miles of the US.
They are completely dependent on the US.
There is a movement in one of their states to join the US.
We will do with them what we please.

Uhhh, no.
The Mexican cartels operate with impunity along the Canadian-US border… and the Canadian government looks the other way.
And it’s way more than 43 lbs …. way more, but you already know this.
No honest person can claim that Canada has been a trustworthy ally over the past 20 years. It’s disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

The entire Canadian border enforcement system, agents, support personnel, the entire operation for 5,000-mile border consists of 300 people. Not exactly a strong commitment to border security.
President Trump asked the Canadian government to remove trade tariffs, remove non-tariff trade barriers, and initiate reciprocal trade. The Canadian govt chose not to.
President Trump asked the Canadian govt to stop being a pass-through for Chinese goods that violates the USMCA. The Canadian govt chose not to.
President Trump asked the Canadian govt to open access to U.S. banks and financial services. The Canadian govt said no.
President Trump asked the Canadian govt to live up to the NATO commitment of 2.5% GDP spending on military defense. The Canadian govt said no, you will defend us free of charge and just accept it.
Now, members of the Canadian government are saying they want to “inflict the maximum amount of pain on Americans possible.”

What does the Crown’s natural resources have to do with anything. At the end of the day, the citizens of any Canadian provinces that might somehow become US states would still freer people than the subjects of any province that remained in Canada. So the whole “security” argument is a crock of shite, except perhaps for the ruling Canadian elites.

U.S. President Donald Trump is making the race for critical minerals a key part of his agenda — and Canada’s rich reserves are a prime target for his ambitions.
Dozens of minerals are being increasingly traded around the world for technologies such as smartphones, electric vehicles and artificial intelligence, as well as modern military equipment.
For years, the U.S. has been trying to reduce its reliance on China for those minerals, turning to like-minded producers like Canada.

Yea, they are a failed welfare state. Funded by the oil provinces they try to dismantle and American businesses they hate.
Posted on 5/11/26 at 5:13 pm to RogerTheShrubber
So how does the US buying Canadian minerals make Canada less secure? If anything, it’s a fricking windfall. Like when Louisianians, Texans, and Oklahomans sell their minerals. Nope, this is just the latest version of Reeeee!!! OMB!!!!! Such a shame that Trump continues to grab you people by the pussy.

Since his election in November, Trump repeatedly has said Canada could avoid tariffs by becoming the 51st state.
Trump used tariffs as leverage to force Canada into doing something it didnt want to do.

Canada is upset because they overplayed their hand.
They thought they had hand by virtue of their loyalty to the WEF and its globalist, Build Back Better agenda. They believed wrong.
And now they realize that their assembly economy is in grave jeopardy because they underestimated President Trump … just as you continue to do. As evidence of that, witness the recent decision by Honda to cancel a major production facility last week.
When you cannot learn from your mistakes … you are doomed to a poor outcome.
