I don't expect either to flip blue, but just for comparison GOP turnout in the Alabama Senate primary was higher than Democratic turnout, by a pretty wide margin.

As someone who lives in GA. I can say that I'm fearful that GA will go blue in the near future.
Nathan Deal opened the floodgates of liberal ideology by catering to the film industry heavily in our State.
With the California exodus a lot of the liberal Hollywood types will make a one way trip to the budding East Coast Hollywood now known as Georgia.

I think it will take a long while, they might appear to get false gains as once deep red Cobb county is basically blue now due to proximity to Atlanta plus deep red people moving to better nicer counties further in the mountains. As Georgia attracts more businesses it will get near purple but with good candidates it should stay red. If not I’ll make the easy hop over to Tennessee once the tax tide turns
